Avoid

1. Frequent application of oil on effected joint (Nilgiriyadi Oil  or Maha-vishgarbh)
2. Light food to reduce weight in case of obesity
3. Trikatu pdr or ajwain (qtr tsp – twice a day with warm water)
4. In case of prominent swelling, dashmularisht may be added - to the medicine – 4 tsp+ equal qty of water – after main meals
   
1. Any food that tends to increase body weight - sweets, rice, ice cream, cold drinks, junk/fried food etc.
2. Any food that tends to form gas in stomach e.g. Rajma, Chana, Urad
3. Any exertion or exercises straining the effected joints - avoid skipping/jumping/stairs/treadmill with week knees
